collapsed under the the weight (no pun intended) of multiple revelations of his role as Trump's insidious "fixer"...weaponizing the DOJ to buffer Trump and punish Trump's perceived enemies (Michael Cohen)..he had nowhere to go except back to the party of hate and greed..the GOP...
