I understand folks will vote for him because he is pro-guns, anti-tax, will close the border or whatever Joe Biden is not but they want. Quite another thing to buy into the "unfair prosecution" stance and go out in public and stand in protest for that. Trump may soon realize his support such as it is has increasing and very finite limits.

It will be someone else's fault not his big mouth which he has no control over. Might he be pushing the
Judge to lock him up thinking he'll raise more money and can play the victim? If that is his game plan
then the news media should have no access to him period.

After weeks of watching his trial from jail with no one to brag about himself to, if given the opportunity
to testify in court he'd jump at the chance to finally have an audience.

And he probably knows he wouldn't be alone thanks to Secret Service - and that's why Bennie Thompson has a bill to strip anyone convicted of a felony and facing jail to be stripped of their Secret Service detail.

And I think you're also right about his insistence that he's going to testify. Considering the list of topics they're planning to ask him if he does, that might actually make him literally explode!
