If the US Supreme Court overrides a state's election process, then will it not have delegitimized the Electoral College? Consistent with such a ruling, a federal body could disqualify certain states from presenting their legitimate electors thus undermining the current presidential election process. If the election process in Colorado or any other state is overruled by the federal court without merit, then won't the electoral college then be positioned as a potential tool for another form of insurrection, or coup?

What exactly is the motivation of the right wing members of the court? What exactly is their agenda?
