Thousands of workers are still out of work weeks after the Baltimore bridge collapsed. Mainstream news is focusing on how the tragedy will affect the supply chain and the stock market. We went to Baltimore to see how it’s affecting port workers and their families.

I doubt that unemployment pay is close to what is earned in wages. Unemployment only pays for a set duration in time and benefits could expire before the ability to return to work.

While their situation is unfortunate, they shouldn't be treated any differently than someone laid off because the factory they worked in closed and production moved overseas. At least they have a job to go back to.
