Anyone else watch/listen to Luke Russert on Mourning Joke?

Please allow me to preface this by saying that I’m sorry his father died. At some point, nearly everyone’s father dies, and we deal with our upset and frustrations each in our own way, each in our own inimitable style. It is part of the maturational process, and for some, it is harder than others due to their age, relationship, and/or emotional investment, as well as a variety of other reasons.

And whereas I always felt that as a member of the lucky sperm club, he was thrust upon us unmercifully by the higher-ups at NBC as a completely and utterly incompetent 22-year-old, he is really not to blame for that ridiculous episode which longtime viewers of MSNBC recall with various levels of admiration or disdain, depending upon the individual.

His interview with Willie Geist today possessed just about the most insipid, platitudinous , ridiculous verbiage I have heard on television in a very long time. It was comparable to listening to a junior high school student in some form of bad therapy and It came across so pathetically I was nearly embarrassed sitting in my car getting gas. I was In near-disbelief that this child of privilege who dealt with his grief by traveling all over the world, undoubtedly staying in luxury, hotels and villas, in order to come to terms with a life event, sees himself as a competent giver of advice on how to deal with loss And how to find oneself again.

I certainly hope he’s in therapy with someone who knows what he or she is doing, because this is the most unformed person I have seen in a very long time and I never thought I would be more aggressively headshaking then I used to be listening to his commentary on politics years ago, but that was entirely eclipsed this morning by his discussion of how he has learned to be “vulnerable”.

Interestingly, I reminisced that the last broadcast I ever saw him do, before he left NBC and embarked upon his Kerouakian-journey, was a feature on the process of removing bubblegum from the sidewalks of Washington DC. I distinctly recall how fitting I thought that assignment was for him at the time.

Of course, MSNBC would see fit to help him promote his book. He does look real healthy and fit with a beard and mustache and wish him and his mental health very well, indeed.

I'll tell you what made me laugh out loud this morning...

Watching and listening to Mika Mouse saying, and I'm paraphrasing somewhat, "...and they're going to talk a lot about...(long hesitation).......sex.

Yeah lady: you were banging your co-host, read co-worker while you were both married with children, so enough with the faux-naivete pearl-clutching and faux-difficulty in even saying...........the WORD: "sex". You posed for photos next to Joe, he sitting and you with your legs up in the air, so act like an adult and stop with the phony virginal monologue.

These people...they act like they are playing Kindergarten teachers in a movie.

As an aside: all these MSNBC commentators who are covering this are also saying that details are unnecessary - they didn't say this years ago in the William Kennedy Smith case. But THAT was DIFFERENT.

"Required" background for today's testimony: 😁

I did some research of Stormy Daniel’s prior performances. Stellar in every way. Five stars and “thumbs” up!

There goes Lemire again..

He’s taking lessons from Andrea Mitchell that no matter how positive the news may sound for Biden, it’s bad news for his campaign.

Hey smug self-serving asshole: we heard your predictions continuously for two years about the 2022 election and the historically predictable disaster for “the party in power”, the Democratic Party of course. Oops…

Biden leading in two major polls causes guys like Lemire to get that depressed look and warn about margins of error snd the like. They do not mention the obvious trend in the polls toward Biden, whether you like polls or not, this is significant.

Trump Steaks

If I recall correctly he orders them well-done.

One observation:

If you listen to Orangina in the Access Hollywood tape, he sounds like Lord Chesterfield compared to how he sounds now. He had an ease of speaking, a coherent vocabulary, and a smoothness which he utterly and totally lacks presently. There has been a severe deterioration in his cognitive processes.

Hey Ari! It's 6:45 on a Friday,

And you haven’t quoted a rapper yet! Are you not feeling well?

Some thoughts during this insanity...

Orangina is simply the classic psychopathic schoolyard bully who became an abuser of (hyperbolically) Biblical proportions of both individuals and because he was allowed, the populace. It may be stated that the smartest thing he ever did was have his parents precede him, a cliche which is most appropriate and applicable in this situation.

His statements concerning his future behavior as President interest me in several ways, but two in particular are very disturbing. Firstly, his threats to suspend the Constitution and perform acts of nearly unspeakable harm to millions possesses that “look what you made me do” notion which many many victims have heard after the punches, or the throwing of bric-a-brac, dishes, or furniture. Then comes the wooing phase, the “we all will make America great again” all the while destroying it further.

Secondly, he is clearly and evidently beholden to foreign forces, the nature of which may be much more complex than we can conceive without engaging a Robert Ludlum protege to write it. Something is seriously wrong here and I for one cannot fathom why at least one the intelligence agencies have not taken care of business. These books and films do not appear from thin air - this is the stuff of best-selling fiction rooted in experiential realities.

Lastly, and as more of a coda: with whom is he being intimate with? Not his wife. I refuse to believe that he’s celibate and his adultery needs to be revealed. My supposition is that there are people who are knowledgeable in this regard and should leak it to, well, any outlet except the National Enquirer. Enquiring minds want to know!!!
