Because a certain someone could not vote?
oops, I forgot that if you question the actions or behavour of a politician you get yelled at...my bad, wrong place to talk about what they are doing.
SC is gonna allow red states to ignore elections and assign electors they want, we know that
dont we?
Anyone here think they won't?
GOP will tank world economy, sure hope Prez can get primetime speech
to explain to America what they are doing has never been done before, that it is holding the American people hostage etc.
Most of the country wont watch and will wake up one day with devastating news having NO clue why, but we have to explain to the people what is happening is NOT his fault.
Post picture from cellphone? I dont see a button for that.
What have I forgotten, sure this is simple.
Like today I learned for the first time, embarrassingly, that you can download an app on your phone to then FAX someone...
How I didnt know that is embarrassing.
Insurance questions Re: fox Dominion
1. Been researching cant find the answers to these questions, what was the total liability limit they had purchased including umbrellas if anyone can figure it out?
2. Most insurance policies do not cover intentional acts* and I dont remember if slander will be covered when it was done knowingly. Making a false statement is one thing, making a false statement when you know its false is another and I just dont remember how this works.
* Example, if it can be proven the guy you rear ended last night that you did it on purpose, your car insurance will not cover any of the damages related to the accident.
Is there a study of how many gun suicides dont happen another way if there is no gun access?
I know it would have to be a guess, so to speak, based on psychological factors.
Knowing that kids NUMBER ONE cause of death is guns, tells me many of these is suicide.
I had a friend recently who blew his brains out because a trump worshiper who is a property manager evicted him at Xmas time because she could, just to be awful.
I dont know if he would have done it without a gun.
Right wingers bragging about FL unemployment #'s, who prepares these in individual states?
Does the governor decide who runs the depts that provides the numbers?
Are the economic numbers of a given state developed inside the state government?
The other reason for low unemployment rates in red states is their little to no corp taxes, they rely on BLUE states for their tax base.
Any lawyers here think the SC will rule against the Christian Taliban judge on abortion pill?
Because of they dont oppose this, Women cant live in a country where this stands.
Only two options at that point.
I wanna know what court observers think.
Biden proposes rule for transgender student athletes that allows for some restrictions
https://www.cnn.com/2023/04/06/politics/title-ix-transgender-student-athletes-biden-rule/index.htmlBiden proposes rule for transgender student athletes that allows for some restrictions, opposes categorical bans
The Biden administration proposed Thursday a new federal rule change that would allow for schools to enforce some restrictions on transgender student athletes, but opposes policies that categorically ban those students from participating on sports teams consistent with their gender.
The proposed rule would establish that policies violate Title IX when they categorically ban transgender students from participating on sports teams consistent with their gender identity just because of who they are, according to a public notice from the US Department of Education.
The proposed rule also recognizes that in some instances, particularly in competitive high school and college athletic environments, some schools may adopt policies that limit transgender students participation, it continued.
sad face here
Question for lawyers, can any conviction of any court of any jurisdiction be overturned by the US
