Some people may disagree with me about school openings [View all]

and that's understandable...but I think it is nuts to even think about reopening schools, reopening restaurants, reopening much of anything.

Number one priority is to smash the virus with a sledge hammer.

Nothing else works well until the virus is controlled and managed.

Here's another thing I think should happen...$3,000 a month to every adult, and they stay home for awhile. Where will the government get the money? I don't care. Find it. Take it from somewhere else. Have the national guard deliver emergency food and medicine. Any financial relief is going to go right back into the economy anyway, and will keep things afloat.

Quit pretending. If you open the schools, expect a lot of slow walking and crying in about 3 weeks when people start dropping like flies. HOW...HOW...HOW DID THIS HAPPEN??? What kind of experience are kids going to have at school anyway when they have to essentially walk around in plastic bubbles, wash their hands 50 times a day, stay away from their friends, etc. Kids don't have that discipline, and all it takes is once.

Stop giving this country 1,000 paper cuts a day and fix this shit already. Yes, the children will be set back. When this is over, the new sane Democratic government can work on abating that.

Yes, but...we can't close down most of the economy like that!!!! Yes we can, because if we don't, the virus will. Quit dodging the barrage of bullets and pretending that you're just dancing.

Stop pretending that things can get back to normal this way. Come up with a goddamn national plan, and recognize that this is what happens when a fucking monster gets elected.
