I'd look for Moderna or Pfizer, which have a higher efficacy but require two shots

I'd look for Johnson & Johnson, which has a lower efficacy but requires only one shot
4 (12%)
I'd take whichever vaccine was available.

Get whatever is offered. Waiting for a specific vaccine just prolongs the pandemic. tinrobot Feb 2021 #5
No it does not prolong the pandemic. Ms. Toad Feb 2021 #6
Well, you need to tell the whole story. Although I don't discount your main point. GulfCoast66 Feb 2021 #9
The J&J vaccine was also tested differently. Apples and Oranges. tinrobot Feb 2021 #10
Right. I like the J&J because of the South African test. People got sick but lived. GulfCoast66 Feb 2021 #14
I'm comparing apples to apples: Ms. Toad Feb 2021 #13
Not disagreeing. But it's not a binary choice. GulfCoast66 Feb 2021 #18
Refuse - no. Delay - yes. Ms. Toad Feb 2021 #27
The vaccine also showed 86 percent efficacy against severe forms of Covid-19 in the United States, Celerity Feb 2021 #11
Apples/Oranges. The vaccines were not tested identically. tinrobot Feb 2021 #16
So if you're offered the J&J vax, even if the other two aren't available, you'll turn down the J&J? Celerity Feb 2021 #21
Not at all. I'll take whatever is offered as soon as it is offfered. tinrobot Feb 2021 #30
I'm interest in the overall rate - Ms. Toad Feb 2021 #17
So if you were offered a cloth mask instead of an N95, you wouldn't wear it? tinrobot Feb 2021 #33
No, it is not. Ms. Toad Feb 2021 #37
I'm kind of concerned about the Pfizer vacc. Bayard Feb 2021 #7
I've seen posts here that reported similar side effects with Moderna MustLoveBeagles Feb 2021 #12
Well, the singles vaccine has pretty bad side effects in 10-15% or so of the people who take it. GulfCoast66 Feb 2021 #20
They would have had the same reaction from moderna. But that's normal JI7 Feb 2021 #25
On the VAERS reports (Vaccine Adverse Events Reported) to CDC womanofthehills Feb 2021 #26
I'll still take whatever they offer Bayard Feb 2021 #35
Like we have a choice? I got what I got because it's what they had. TreasonousBastard Feb 2021 #8
