(8,412 posts)31. We were offered the Moderna vaccine and
got our first dose on 2/8. Second does on 3/8. I've cleared my calendar for a few days in case I get a reaction.
I feel very fortunate and praise science.

I took the first appointment I could get. Turned out it was Pfizer, go back in 16 days. r

I wanted Moderna, that's what they were offering the day I went. The next day it was Pfizer.

Get whatever is offered. Waiting for a specific vaccine just prolongs the pandemic.

Right. I like the J&J because of the South African test. People got sick but lived.

Well, the singles vaccine has pretty bad side effects in 10-15% or so of the people who take it.
