In reply to the discussion: do you fell comfortable with indoor dining if you're fully vaxxed? [View all]Ms. Toad
(34,177 posts)But I'm not comfortable, and generally we will only eat in outdoor locations for the foreseeable future. (We're both fully vaccinated, the restaurant was nearly empty, and I wore my mask except when I was actively eating.)
It wasn't quite warm enough for the outdoor locations to be open yet.
When I will be comfortable is (1) when there are fewer than 50 cases /100,000 in the county in which I'm dining and/or (2) when there is a 70-80% vaccination rate in the county in whch I'm dining. Until then - eating out indoors will be limited to eating with my spouse (and other fully vaccinated individuals) on special occasions at her request. The next will likely be our anniversary in September (at which it will likely stlll be warm enough to eat outdoors), then after that her birthday next April.
