Just because we Republicans told you that Covid was a hoax doesn't mean you should have listened to us.
Just because we repeatedly lied to you about its severity and its consequences doesn't mean you should hold us responsible for the deaths of your loved ones.
Just because we ignored the facts, and urged you to ignore them as well, doesn't mean you should distrust everything we say.
Just because we put our own political interests above your well-being doesn't mean you shouldn't vote for us in future.
Just because we blatantly disregarded the advice of seasoned experts in the field, and instead relied on the incoherent ramblings of a know-nothing madman, doesn't mean that we can't be trusted to eventually tell the truth when politically expedient to do so.
Just because we expressed our concerns about the ravages of a pandemic after it had claimed over 600,000 American lives doesn't mean we're not smart enough to eventually recognize the obvious when it counts.
Just because we were willing to pass laws that put you, your family, your coworkers, your neighbours, and the entire country at risk of spreading a deadly disease doesn't mean we put our own self interests above your very lives.
So don't forget to vote Republican in 2022 and 2024 - just because we have nothing else to run on, other than fealty to the idiot who convinced you that dying is actually good for you.
