Enough is enough. It's time for the Democratic party to accept the truth [View all]

Thr truth is that there is no longer a Republican party.

The truth is that the Republican party that existed prior to Ronald Reagan is no more.

The truth is the Republican party began to devolve, slowly at first, but at an accelerated pace when the first manifestation of the Tea Party, Newt Gingrich became speaker.

The truth is that the likes of Jordan and Cruz and their ilk enjoy being identified as Republicans.

The truth is that being identified as Republicans gives them shelter.

It's time to call it like it is.

It's time for all Democrats to tell the truth.

It's time for every Democrat, whether elected or not, to refer to the opposition as the Tea Party whenever the opportunity exists.

The next time Chuck or Nancy or Joe speak in public they need to refer to the opposition as Tea Party Minority Leaders McConnell etc.

When Chuck Toad refers to Republicans during an interview the Democrat responding should ensure that the response directly includes the term Tea Party in lieu of Republican.
