I am good with creating mandates for most things that we need like climate change, Covid vaccination, single-payer health care, anti-racist teachings at all levels of school and industry, multi-trillion dollar reparations for Black individuals, and changing our Constitution to more reflect a 1619 start of the country with the installment of chattle slavery by white supremacists. In other words, we should NOT have to vote "for" or "against" climate change, etc., just like we should NOT have to vote "for" or "against" police brutality over BIPOC, for instance. Therefore, I'm more nuanced in how this transformation should be done. The main thing is to ensure BIPOC has primary ability to vote their needs over any other democratic function that we have.
