General Discussion
In reply to the discussion: Is Elon Musk Really That Bad? [View all]While Musk does deserve a fair share of the kudos for his academic achievements and contributions to Tesla and other concerns, it seems to me that he has received outsized recognition and credit for what are collaborative works. I recognize that Tesla had made some important advances in EVs but I don't know how much of it is actually attributable to the thoughts and actions of Musk compared to the thoughts and actions of the others.
I am also concerned about how Musk manages people. Some reports show racism toward and poor treatment of some groups of employees. I am concerned about his maturity as well, mainly in regard to emotional intelligence competencies. If his behavior had been problematic up to this point, it will likely only get worse and more extreme as he gains more power and prestige. I guess we'll see.
