If you think about it, we "libtards" have no place to turn . . . . . [View all]

. . . . . even when we win court judgments. Everything is appealable. And up the chain it goes. To the Supremes. Where liberal decisions go to die.

I wish I was wrong.

No, this is not a post against Democrats. It is a fact, it seems to me. Rooted in insidious partisanship at the lowest levels many decades ago. The conservatives played the long game very well.

And here we are.

Think about it. The right wing fucks with the next election in a few states they control. Let's say they literally void some Democratic votes for some completely bullshit reason. Our side files suit. We win. They appeal. We win again. They appeal. And so on and so forth. Up to the Supremes.

Then what?

Look at every fascist government. The courts are owned.

Just like our courts.

Where do we turn then?

The fat lady has yet to exercise her pipes, but I can hear her in the Green Room. Warming up.

We have this cycle and maybe we can last to '24. Keep thinking the good thoughts.

But man oh man.

It is SCARY out there.
