He came in on an escalator
Protected by his silver spoon
But now he sucks his thumb and wonders
Why he's called a sick buffoon

Didn't anybody tell him?
Could no one make him see?
Lying will not work forever
Most folks prefer reality

He said he'd always been a genius
Always better than the rest
But with the IQ of a houseplant
Well, let's just say he failed the test

He finally quit all his pretending
And said the quiet part out loud
Then in a sort of reverse "Invictus"
Though unbloodied, he's now bowed
