court case that was the straw that broke the camel's back and Fox did a cost/benefit analysis on whether to keep him or not and it would cost them more than it would be of benefit.

I do think Fox is deliberately leaking the texts to put that as the catalyst instead of what I think still remains to be made public and the main reason he was fired. Call me suspicious and cynical, lol.
