(1,359 posts)95. He was mad because he considered himself
Entitled to be the newly anointed leader of Democrats, but he didn't bother to ask Democrats if they agreed with that. Most of us hadn't forgotten how he undermined Clinton with his mush-mouth simpering about morals, or how many of us held our noses about that part of the Gore ticket.
Oh--and it was well-known that he was a bag man for the pharmacy and health insurance industries. He was always ready to sell out Americans to get their big lobbying money.
He was always a self-serving wanker that nobody but other self-serving wankers liked.

TBH, I had just moved on and found him quite forgettable. Obama was my main concern and I loved him (still do)....

I'm not a fan of any politician. I support those who need support and work with the Democratic Caucus.

At the end of the day, Joe Lieberman's last act was actively working to defeat Joe Biden.

After 2000, I never paid much attention to him I never got why Gore chose him in the 1st place.

The only thing I will miss about Joe Lieberman is Jon Stewart's "Droopy Dog as Joe" impression/voice

Yes. Democrats won the seat but replaced Lowell with a far more conservative senator.

On balance, he did not make the world a better place. We are all supposed to do that.

I feel for you - I was well aware that this was going to affect a lot of people in a very negative way.
