Jon Stewart is another one - since 2009! Stewart once made a mild joke about not having the energy to yell for thirty minutes like Keith Olbermann, and that was all it took. Dozens of tweets over the years about how NOBODY SHOULD LIKE JON STEWART HE'S NOT FUNNY. NOBODY SHOULD THINK JON STEWART IS SMART HE'S A DOODYHEAD.

The same news source - Puck - reported that his "talks" with MSNBC about coming back were one-sided lobbying on his part to replace Chris Hayes. Puck quoted from a pages-long email arguing that Chris Hayes' ratings were not good enough and Keith would save them. Hypocritical, no? Keith issued a denial, but it was a denial that he tried to get Chris Hayes fired, which is not the same as taking his time slot. Anyway, he switched targets after more than a year of this when it became known Rachel was going to do Monday only. Among his many complaints relayed to the Daily Beast about Rachel's "veto" was that she did not answer his email apologizing for the conflict that led to him not speaking to her for eleven years - which was only offered after his other efforts to undo the veto failed.

I still listen most days, but man I am sick of his "punching down" at dozens of mildly famous anchors and reporters, at ESPN, NBC, CNN. He constantly insults most of the MSNBC anchors - including Jen Psaki, btw. This NBC bigwig just suggested Jen Psaki and Ronna McDaniel had equivalent backgrounds in an administration. Keith has said that Jen is no good at her new job. Neither are Alex Wagner, Steve Kornacki, or Chris Hayes. Lawrence and Rachel are horrible people in general. So, gee, if it is even true that Rachel had the last word on who would replace her T-F, she would have been wise. The anchors often cover big stories as a team, how would that work with him???
