General Discussion

Lets not loose sight of the fact that we have pissed all over these people for the last 7 decades. In 1953, when they tried to claim sovereignty over their own natural resource, oil, the US overthrew their democratically elected leader, Mohammed Mossadegh in a CIA sponsored coup. That put Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi (the Shah) in the drivers seat. The murderous tyrant who was our man in Tehran eventually led to the Islamic revolution in 1979 which rules Iran to this day. There were other atrocities that we we were responsible for such as shooting down an Iranian civilian airplane in the Persian Gulf, killing all 295 passengers and crew. And of couse we spit in their face by the cancelling of the nuclear freeze by none other than Trump for no good reason except for Trumps ego.

You can crticize them all you want but without acknowledging our own role in the whole mess, it rings hollow.
