I wonder if Iran were organizing terrorist attacks against the US if we would strike at them directly [View all]

Or if we would limit ourselves to only dealing withe the ones who actually carried out the attacks? I know bin Laden didn't participate in 9/11 but we went after him because he organized and funded the attacks, exactly like Iran is doing to Israel.
