after 9/11, there was a plan to bomb the shit out of Tora Bora, to kill Usama bin Laden etc. Instead, a genius move by Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld deciding to occupy the country to kill all of the bad guys.

Then these same leaders decided to remove Saddam, because the US just couldn't wait for yellow cake and mushroom clouds, A cake walk, no doubt. It required occupying Iraq, which had stolen our oil.

Boy, these both worked out great.
