Is how accepting everyone is to the notion that autism is a deviation from the norm, and furthermore,
it's understood the differences are exhibited on a spectrum

It's also a condition of the brain

If one's sexual orientation might also be a deviation from the norm, could that too also be on a spectrum ?

Originating from differences in the brain ?

For myself, it's inconceivable to choose to be sexually intimate with another man. I have always been attracted to the opposite gender (even in first grade!)

But, if my orientation was more on the spectrum - more near the center, I might believe that being attracted to the same gender is indeed more of a "lifestyle choice," and in my ignorance, I might assume that everyone was the same as me

(I decided to make this a post, as I've been meaning to for some time now)

I love the way you keep poking your neighbors Marthe48 Apr 21 #1
