...nor is that anything Trump is being charged with on this trial.
*Maybe* Pecker could be guilty of misdemeanors as you describe, in conspiring with Trump to do things to influence the election, though even then, it's not clear that anything the two of them conspired to do (i.e. catch-and-kill, or make up false stories) was unlawful. (Though Pecker presumably would have immunity for anything he testifies to anyway.)
