(108,995 posts)35. My guess would be that Garland had his hands full investigating Trump for the
other cases -- Jan 6 and Mar a Lago.

I admit it's a null hypothesis, but I think we'd have also have been disappointed in him as an SC justice.

I think there is a possibility that Garland as a SCOTUS Justice would have become the reverse image of Souter
