It was his official duty to overthrow the government, lest it fall into the hands of someone else! Nothing could be, or have been, more vital to the United States, than preventing His successor from taking office. It's right there, in the Federalist Papers, George Washington, Marbury v. MadisonL that's exactly what the Founders intended!
