(25,987 posts)At one point, she gestures, while yelling at police to stop. Her hand didn't touch anything, and there was no deliberate attempt to reach for anything. There is a moment when her back is to the camera and she is bending over a cop on the ground trying to get his attention, but no visible evidence she is touching or trying to touch him or his gun. She was too close, and got attention for it, but there's no evidence she touched anyone. Then her hands came up in front of her, near her face after she is grabbed by another cop, who swung her around. If there was any contact, his own movements seemed to be the cause. Given the situation, her actions weren't the smartest in the world, but she didn't assault anyone. She had a bunch of physical reaction directed toward her, once the cop decided to put hands on her.
Maybe we saw it differently, but this is my take after several viewings at slow speed. 🤷?♀️
Eta: There's no question she got too close, and by interfering with an arrest, she was bound for trouble. Not smart.
