So shes never lived in a world where women faced such disregard for their health. Probably grew up hearing that it wasnt bad in the past, stories of botched abortions and women dying were exaggerated by people who want to kill babies. She didnt realize Roe is about saving womens lives because it was a given during Roe that womens lives would be saved over nonviable fetuses. She was focused on the babies because she had the luxury and privilege under Roe to not consider the breadth and depth of how her vote would impact womens health. I think shes starting to figure it out and we watching her deprogramming on this in real time.
