Religious programming to save these children from hell. Sure, take a couple of "parents" who see LGBTQ as evil, and give them parental rights to make those kids lives a living hell.
All in the name of God, or at least what passes for God in the eyes of these "good christian" parents.
What could go wrong here?
Everything.
