What are people living there supposed to do with their dogs while the convention is going on? MichMan Apr 28 #2
They deal. They're cool. Seriously. They know what to do & I'm not going to look it up since I lived on the South Side. ancianita Apr 28 #5
If authorities told me I had to remove my dog from my home for several days, there is going to be a problem. MichMan Apr 28 #8
And where do you live? ancianita Apr 28 #9
Michigan MichMan Apr 28 #10
Well then, ancianita Apr 28 #11
haha....thank you for that.... bahboo Apr 28 #13
So all dogs inside the zone will have to be boarded outside the zone? DBoon Apr 28 #18
lol Puh-lease. Call Chicago PD's 311 and ask. I'm no micro expert, just a former resident of the city. ancianita Apr 29 #20
what difference does it make where they live? sorry but the dogs stay, it's their house too. dem4decades Apr 29 #27
Yeah, the ban of dogs is absolutely ridiculous. Ace Rothstein Apr 29 #30
Pro tip: Do NOT let Kristi Noem doggysit them. Celerity Apr 29 #23

Have what. It's a done deal. You realize that conventions are held in states, right? ancianita Apr 28 #6
If they haven't yet consider bans on drones. LiberalFighter Apr 28 #4
Pritzker's got that covered. More Democrats should get acquainted with Illinois' governor. ancianita Apr 28 #7
I must admit, I was quite skeptical of Pritzker. shrike3 Apr 29 #36
I hear ya. The way I look at the oligarchic class is, they're either part of the pro-democracy group, or the ancianita Apr 29 #37
There was a lot of grousing about Pritzker during the pandemic. shrike3 Apr 29 #38
Yeah I didn't know about that. But the grousing was probably by IL rethugs and amplified by corporate media there. ancianita Apr 29 #39
If it does, Joe will win. We just have to work hard. shrike3 Apr 29 #43
I posted this on FB. Thought you'd appreciate what it says about our Illinois Governor Pritzker. ancianita Apr 29 #42
Good politician and very likable. Compare that to Musk. shrike3 Apr 29 #44
Right?? ancianita Apr 29 #45
Mahalo for your Excellent OP! Cha Apr 28 #12
Careful, "kill it" jumped out at me. I know the metaphor is not anti-person, but people may die in the protests Bernardo de La Paz Apr 28 #14
LOL! Yeah, but hey, we're all friends here, right? So then what word would work better? ancianita Apr 29 #21
No worries. I'd probably say "knock it out of the park" or "nail it" or "do us proud" Bernardo de La Paz Apr 29 #24
Much appreciated. The comedy and music contexts are where I got the word from. ancianita Apr 29 #31
Repeat of DNC 1968? Devilsun Apr 28 #15
That's my worry. Anti Israel demonstrators are at every political event. 3Hotdogs Apr 28 #17
Not the same war. Not the same PD. Not the same mayor. Not the same governor. Not the same Secret Service, FBI, DOJ, and ancianita Apr 29 #22
