Hussein was the President's middle name. Their using it when he does not showed their bigotry.

With Bobby Jindal, he was Americanizing his name voluntarily, so it was bigoted to call him Piyush because he did not use it.

The spelling is easier so it could have had to do with that. Maybe there is evidence rich Daddy Drumpf really did want to do that. Or maybe it was for vanity reasons. It's an old white man, though, so it is tough to drum up sympathy for what little bigotry can be raised against him. White people can handle it - it doesn't hurt them. Also he could be fair game due to his bigotry towards other. Golden rule and all that.
