Every time a POC is killed by the cops, it's heartbreaking and infuriating. However, this beautiful, gentle young man was NOT A THREAT TO ANYONE. He just made the mistake of Walking While Black. Maybe because I'm a cat owner and married to someone on the autism spectrum, but Elijiah's death really hit me hard.
