safe storage laws are a bad idea because self defense means having INSTANT access to a gun.

One (and you probably know who you are) even argued that if there were safe storage laws and he were able to get to the gun and use it in self defense he would be charged with violating safe storage BECAUSE he was able to get to the gun proving it wasn't stored safely! Yeah, that's the mentality we're dealing with.

Where do these people think they live, Libya??
