(3,548 posts)16. My youngest daughter, surprisingly, became quite the seamstress!
She got into comic-cons, Renaissance fairs, and costumes in general. And now, she thinks nothing of knocking out a skirt or dress.
I suspect a lot of young women are particularly drawn to the 'art' part of 'domestic arts'!

I would never order fabric online. I want to feel and weigh it with my hands.
