When I started balloon twisting, I asked a seamstress friend of mine to make a couple vests for me, and I realized it would be unfair of me to inconvenience her everytime I wanted a new one so I took a class. Joann and Hancock's were the places to go, and Hancock's is gone now. I do shop the smaller, locally owned places, but if I find fabric I like, it doesn't matter where it came from... except if it's Hobby Lobby.

I would never order fabric online. I want to feel and weigh it with my hands.
