and think they ought to rigorously defended by the courts. Where we part ways is in the efficacy (and, from what I've seen, I'll include sometimes 'intent') of these citizen patrols. (actually if they were in fact citizen patrols - and maybe 'documenting' open and pervasive criminal behavior on city streets and subways? - than that might actual have some positive effect!) But, as it stands - these people - I don't think they're helping.
