Then cassette and finally CD collections.

The price actually worked out to be $3-$4/each for the CDs. They ran specials on box sets where you purchase one and get two or three (did that a couple of times as well).

My wife and I continued to join and cancel multiple times.

You don't even want to know what I did with the various book clubs.
