if it were me, Id print it out and start a 3-ring binder to keep track of who I was calling and what they said, and then what I did to obtain the benefits I was asking for.
Thats just the kind of thing I did as a secretary to keep track of stuff I was doing.
And earlier in life, when I was new in town, I filled a spiral notebook with cut-out want-ads from the newspaper, and notes where I called every single one asking not only about the duties of the job but about salary and benefits because I had two toddlers to feed and rent to pay and I didnt have time to muck about. I was terrified every day. And thats the story of how I became a secretary at the University, which didnt pay wonderfully, but which had very good benefits.
I wish you all the best, but eventually you too will find that you dont have any more time to muck about. People here have been very generous with their time and their expertise and their money but some of us have begun to wonder if it is only the latter you are willing to utilize.
