57. A crisis that the SCOTUS exacerbated and encouraged with

the DC v Heller decision that overturned SCOTUS precedent on the Second Amendment by choosing to effectively delete the entire first clause of the Amendment so that the so-called originalists could arrive at a decision that was never intended by the Founders.

The 30,000 gun deaths a year are merely collateral damage.

And the NRA and the weapons manufacturers prosper. Truly the American way.

I have lived here for many years and still cannot understand the fascination, bordering on obsession, that some Americans have for gun possession.
