Fiduciary account [View all]

A doctor, without any testing, told the VA fiduciary people that I was no longer fit to be my husbands fiduciary and I would also need a fiduciary. My psychiatrist made me an appointment to have a neuropsych evaluation. My worse score was average and 3 scores were superior. Also my psychiatrist sent them a letter stating that I could still take care of our finances. The committee has not made a determination yet and I was told it could take 4 months. Friday we get our VA disability and the new fiduciary, who I don't know, wants me to give her all our financial information over the phone. She just called me today for the first time and can not even tell me if I am getting the money or if it is going into our new fiduciary accounts. We have bills that are do on Monday and if I don't have the money these bills will not be paid. Most of our bills are autopay in my disability account or in my husband's disability account. Now I know why my VAO has a plaque on his desk, "I love my country, it is the government I don't trust.".
