And ZRS should never be allowed to enter any horse in another race.

I learned so much growing up around thoroughbreds and racing. My love of stats & data analysis stems my Dad giving me the racing form and $5 to make my “wagers” as a little girl. It was even my first introduction to genetics.

But the racing industry has a long way to go in regulating the humane treatment of the horses.

Derby Week starts this coming weekend! Wear a fancy hat & enjoy a mint julep to celebrate, y’all!
