Democratic Primaries

(5,008 posts)all cult like. It is not like the ground support that President Obama had. His was more about hope, change and togetherness. I was always so happy to support Obama. I got to see him several times because he was trying to flip Virginia. Bernie is an angry screaming man with a cult like following. I try to watch him and understand but I just dont get the appeal. It is scary. I will vote for him if he is the nominee but that is it. It is more about my absolute hatred of Trump than support for Bernie. It makes me sad that I likely will not have someone that I enthusiastically support (like Obama). However, like my husband said we are getting older (48 this year) and now the younger people get to have their say. I have three young adults. They have not made up their mind about a candidate. One was for Yang. I will be interested to see how they end up voting. Two things are for sure..they would never vote for Trump and they will vote. Even if I have to drag them there.. 😂 Seriously, two are excited to have the opportunity to finally get Trump out..One was absolutely devastated for months after Trump won. He could not even turn on the tv. Other frequently tells me he is so tired of seeing and hearing about Trump. Other one (Yang supporter) is cynical of the entire process and thinks it is all rigged. Regardless of candidate I just hope we can win. I dont think Sanders can beat Trump but I hope I will be proven wrong if he is the nominee.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
