Extremely tame? Not sure what you mean by that but I found many of his comments wrong, misleading, and as he said himself not researched (at all). As one example, all of the countries that he said were committing genocide, were not supported by millions of OUR tax dollars. Israel is! (an important distinction) And that is why the students are out in force, they as well as many US and Israeli citizens want no part in that! And if you believe that when he said Israel could commit genocide but chose not to
then I guess I am not sure what to say except it is quite clear to anyone paying attention as to their intentionscompletely wipe out and destroy every person and everything in Gaza. In other words genocide. I could go on but if you are truly interested in a thoroughly researched history of that region I would suggest reading The Hundred Years War on Palestine by Prof. Rashid Khalidi. It is a book that all of the mainstream pundits and politicians should be familiar with. If Mr. Maher needs some help in his research, let me make it easy for him:
Genocide is the intentional destruction of a people in whole or in part. In 1948, the United Nations Genocide Convention defined genocide as any of five "acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group".
Mr.Maher, glad I could help.
