I checked all three credit bureaux. Two of 'em have me in the "good" range, within 4 points of each other. The other one is 100 points lower--yes, one hundred points. And has something in a note about "serious delinquencies". But the details don't show serious delinquencies. All my accounts are current, I show one payment over 30 days (my bad, I admit, but just one)a few months ago. Other than that, things seem fine. I checked it because I got a letter from one of my credit card companies saying they were closing my account because I hadn't used the card in a long time (it's true, I don't use credit much), and because one of the bureaus showed "serious delinquencies" on my report. So, I took a look.
I'm really pissed about this, and contacted the credit bureau for an explanation. My credit isn't spotless, I know. But the worst of my problems happened at the time of my divorce and are all off my reports now (I was divorced 9 years ago). And two bureaus think I have good credit. So, what's wrong with this one?! I'm hoping there hasn't been more identity theft, but there's no sign of that on the report.
Thanks for letting me rant.
