I just finished designing the ad for TM's yearbook that we bought about her.

I am a GOOD mommy. Who knew you were supposed to do this crap? And it will cost me $300. :grr:

1. For $300, how big is the ad? Hopefully at least 1/2 page for that kind of dough.
I bought one for my friends and i back in '84 (1/2 page - cost me $75) . We had to reshoot and submity the pic several times, because the yearbook-staff's faculty adviser thought my punker friends and i looked "too threatening". Then they put the ad right across the page from a couple of the redneck boys who were brandishing shotguns! Go figure that one.

3. Full page. This school is determined to squeeze every dime I have from me.
It has six pics of her and I wrote something about how proud we are of her, yadayadayada.

5. It's nice of DS1 to be "sharpening" up the 6 pics of her for the ad.
I do believe that this page will totally MAKE the yearbook.

9. It better. It took me forever to get the three kids to sit still for a picture.

10. No, it's an ad that has pics of your kid and you say sappy things for the whole world to see.
I'm totally getting my revenge on her for not doing the dishes.

7. We have to take out ads to tell our kids we like them now?
They don't get the hint when we keep feeding them?

15. Nope. You could be like me, and completely miss the boat on
all the due dates for this...the money for that... It's a damned good thing that she didn't end up going to the Prom naked. BTW, every last cookie was thoroughly enjoyed. :loveya:

16. My mom almost forgot the date of my prom
which was a slight problem, since she was making my dress. She wound up making an ankle-length formal in about a day and a half. I'm glad they liked them and that Wannabe is doing better.

14. I did not buy the ad, because the ad forms came out when she was
sick. I am a sucky mommy, but most people know that by now. I did, however, buy here the dress she wanted for graduation on Sunday.

17. You are so far from a sucky mommy those words shouldn't
even be allowed in the same sentence in reference to you. :loveya:
