I've already caucused for Edwards in Iowa, and I'm honestly not sure I could make a second choice in a hypothetical caucus now where Edwards wasn't viable.
Hillary supporters, your candidate really took it to the Republicans last debate, and I like that a lot. Her health care plan is very close to my man Edwards, likewise her environment plan (his is still superior natch!) What I'm really afraid of with her is triangulation, and as long as she's hammering the Republicans, she isn't attacking her base. But the people around her (Mark Penn, Terry McAuliffe. etc) deserve to be managing fast food restaurants, not the White House.
Obama supporters, your candidate has some good people around him, and I love his record on campaign finance reform. He's endorsed public financing, unlike Clinton, which I really care about. But somewhere along the line, he seems to have forgotten that he's running in the DEMOCRATIC primary, not the Republican/independent primary. He's starting to pick up the triangulation habit in ways that remind me uncomfortably of the old Clinton way.
I'm so glad I'm free.
