All of you Hillary supporters who are going to say -- oh, you don't like democracy? oh, you dont' want to let everyone vote? and all the other excuses for her grandiose Pinky and the Brain campaign to take over the world -- SHE LOST.
By the rules set up, by the rules she agreed to - SHE LOST
There is no "popular vote" argument. The purpose of the primary is to apportion delegates. SHE LOST.
She now refuses to even suspend her campaign, much less concede, even though the ONLY way she could claim a victory is through CHEATING, STEALING and STRONG-ARMING those who are less politically powerful than she is. In other words, SHE LOST.
The super delegates who have been holding back need to come out, en masse, and mercifully end this thing. Obama has been more than gracious to her. If he continues to hold back on his candidacy to placate her refusal to accept that SHE LOST, he lets her suck the air out of the Democratic party's momentum. The party looks weak because it does not stand up to her and admit that SHE LOST and it is time for her to move on.
It is a merciful thing to do this for her because now people are starting to look at her refusal to admit SHE LOST and to graciously admit this as some sort of estrangement from reality. Okay, she can't win. Everyone knows it. Yet, look, there she is, yet another day, out there lying her ass off to give some sort of justification for her to continue even tho SHE LOST.
How embarrassing for women she supposedly represents (not this one) to see her turn her groundbreaking run for the presidency into a freak show... because that is what this has become. ANY other candidate would have admitted the facts on the ground and left the stage.
She cannot win by playing by the rules. She cannot win if she breaks the rules because she would splinter the democratic party. She shows no signs of accepting that she is quickly becoming a parody of herself.
For these reasons, the super delegates need to honor Obama's win NOW and help Clinton accept reality.
