Migraines

I found this for for the first time today, and wow.

One thing that occurred to me reading through this, is I wonder how many loners are prone to migraines? I ask because I am, and my neurosurgeon says there is such a thing as the "migraine brain," which perceives stimuli much more acutely than a "normal" brain.

He says when he's seeing a new patient for migraines, he can be almost certain that they'll walk in wearing sunglasses. And they'll hate noise, etc.

2. I'm a lifelong loner and don't have migraines -- but I know plenty of

extroverts who have migraines. My coworker, a dedicated extrovert, would have them regularly if she didn't take meds. She certainly can't stand noise when a migraine tries to begin, but IMO that's because it causes her actual pain. I hate noise because it interferes with me "being in my own head." Different reasons for hating the same noise...
