27. The only thing the Senate does on impeachments is acquit or convict
They have no say in how or whether the impeachment process gets started.

20. This is the Clerk reading the impeachment resolution into the record...
Kucinich already was recognized for a point of personal privilege and read the entire resolution when he brought it to the floor. THe presiding CHair read the rule that it would be scheduled for vote within 2 legislative days. (There may be a requirement that the resolution be read into the record twice before the vote can be held, but I am not sure on this one.)

15. Kucinich is DOING what WE want, and trying to save the Constitution. If YOU
haven't called your rep yet, then shame on you! We just called Jay Inslee, Speaker Pelosi, and then followed up with a HUGE thanks to Rep. Kucinich.

49. I wonder if the Media hasn't reported because they got the word from Hoyers that he
would Table the motion. I'm always amazed at how the Repugs get coverage and have gotten coverage and yet there's almost a quiet when Dems do anything out of step with Hoyer/Pelosi or Reid's wishes. Like the media is alerted ahead of time to downplay the coverage because whatever it is won't go anywhere.

also for the record. I wonder how many times he can bring up this Resolution. Is it just once or could he do it again..when the situation worsens with Cheney...which we know it will.

It will be interesting to see if Tweety or any others cover it besides Olbermann tonight. And, HOW MSM will cover it if they do. Will it be ignored by the RW'ers over at Fox...or covered with snickering and derision.
