13. I read an article just yesterday
Stating that the US military, for all its strength and power could not take and hold Fallujah.

When taken into context that this military can generate the most power per square foot on the entire planet - and cannot even take and hold one city in Iraq speaks volumes. The insurgency is winning and the US has lost its edge.

Guess the simple fact that they are still bombing Fallujah means that it is NOT taken by the US. The article stated that there is a media blackout in this regard; that the US has had to withdraw to the outskirts of the city and are barely, just barely holding on. The insurgents rule the city - operate within their discretion and strike at will.
